Product Overview

Tension Leveler systems combine controlled strip tension, bending and leveling rolls to reduce waves, coil set and residual stress. The equipment can be integrated with cleaning, inspection, slitting or finishing lines.

Available configurations include double-bend single-leveler, double-bend double-leveler and 23-roll Tension Leveler layouts. Selection depends on material strength, strip width, thickness range, surface sensitivity and target flatness.

Specification Range

  • Models: double-bend single-leveler, double-bend double-leveler and 23-roll Tension Leveler.
  • Width options: 350 mm to 1780 mm.
  • Reference speeds: 500-800 m/min depending on strip width and line configuration.
Tension Leveler Reference Parameters
Leveler configuration Typical strip width Reference speed Process target
Double-bend single-leveler 350-1780 mm 500-800 m/min Flatness improvement and coil-set reduction for finishing lines.
Double-bend double-leveler 350-1780 mm 500-800 m/min Higher flatness-control demand with stronger bending and tension adjustment.
23-roll tension leveler 350-1780 mm 500-800 m/min Residual-stress relief and strip-shape stabilization before downstream processing.

Final roll diameter, leveling cassette, tension range and line integration details are selected according to material strength, thickness, strip width and surface requirements.

Typical Applications

  • Flatness improvement for stainless steel, silicon steel and carbon steel strip.
  • Residual-stress relief before finishing, slitting or inspection.
  • Line integration with flat strip cleaning, slitting and finishing equipment.
